The Nomad Inshore Spin 20-30lb rod NIS7620-30 and the Nomad Offshore Spin PE1.5-3 / 20-40lb rod NOS2P741.5-3 are ideal for fishing the Vertrex Max 110. These rods are designed specifically to work vibes and they feature a slightly slower taper rod and a tip with more backbone to impart more action to the vibe with each lift of the rod. Traditional soft tipped inshore spin rods are not ideal for working vibes.
