Full Time Associate
Job Description
Reef & Reel is a rapidly growing Fishing Apparel & Lifestyle Brand that is about to open their first brick and mortar store in sunny St. Pete. We are looking for a results driven Full Time Associate to be responsible for outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage time effectively. Candidates will have the most success if they have a background in retail sales and service with extensive fishing knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Help develop business strategies to raise our customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
- Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff. Engagement at staff meetings and individual employee meetings
- Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service.
- Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Maintain outstanding store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards
- Report on buying trends and customer needs to the SM
- Propose innovative ideas to increase market share. Create events for customer engagement and growth
- Participate in our education program that will offer free/paid fishing tackle, techniques and strategies classes
- Participate in personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career path
- Communicate all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc) to Store Manager
- Be a leading example of excellent behavior and high performance
- Additional duties as needed

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
