The Avet SXJ 6/4 MC Raptor Reel with Dual Drag features a ratcheting drag cam with the MC (magnetic) cast control which allows for control of spool speed for more manageable casts in varying conditions. The Magic Cast design also provides a tight, firm line and prevents backlash from coming through.
Avet SXJ Reels are workhorse 20-25 lb casting/trolling reel. Weighing 16oz., with a spool slightly narrower than a SX, the SXJ is a compact yet surprisingly strong game reel. With a cast control system that virtually eliminates backlashes, 17 lbs. of drag at strike, while at the same time, providing flawless freespool.
